Musée d’Art Moderne de Saint-Étienne Métropole & Institut d’art contemporain, Villeurbanne
CHRONIQUES PHOTOGRAPHIQUES
With Cròniques Fotogràfiques (Photographic Chronicles) the Vall Palou Foundation begins an international collaboration with two prestigious institutions: the Musée d'Art Moderne in Saint-Étienne Métropole ( which holds the second largest collection of twenty and twenty-first century art in France after the Musée National d'Art Moderne, Centro Georges Pompidou in Paris) and the Institut d'art contemporain, Villeurbanne & Rhône-Alpes.
This exhibition and its namesake in the French Institute in Barcelona from 8th June to 15th October, are included in the Rhône-Alpes to Catalonia week (Bonjour Catalunya) from the 8th to 14th of June although they extend their reach further with the aim of enabling a broader public to enjoy this exceptional collection, and especially, academics and university students.
A catalogue has been published for the exhibition with texts by Teresa Vall Palou, Joan-Francesc Ainaud and Martine Dancer.
