In November 2008 the Foundation travelled to Shanghai at the time of the Biennale to set up contacts with artists, institutions, galleries and other agents in the world of Chinese contemporary art with the aim of acquiring works, setting up exchange exhibitions and organising activities both in the Chinese capital and in the Foundation centre in Lleida.
