Timed to coincide with the opening to the public of the exhibition Animated Sketchbooks, the artist Sekhar Mukherjee has created an original work, in situ, especially for the exhibition.

Born in Calcutta (India) in 1969, Sekhar is a director of animated films, a comic book artist, and presently dedicates much of his time to education. He coordinates the Animation Department of the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad and directs Chitrakatha, the International Student Animation Festival in NID.
