The engraving will be personally led by the artist-engraver Joan Barbarà, with the assistance of his son, the engraver Virgili Barbarà.

Duration: 10 days (Monday 19 to Friday 23 of April and Monday 26 to Friday 30 of April 2010).

Timetable: 09:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00

Place: Vallpalou Contemporary Art (Roger de Llúria, 4 bis, altell 2a, 25005, Lleida)

Goals: To experience all kinds of engraving techniques and imprinting processes.

Price: Free. Includes the workshop materials but doesn't include transport, board or accommodation.

Participants: Artists with basic knowledge of engraving.

Registration: by e-mail, fax or post, until 31st March 2010. Applications should include the applicant's name and surname, e-mail, phone number and contact address as well as a brief letter of presentation and, where appropriate, an abbreviated C.V.

Due to the limited number of available places (10) there will be a selection process from among those interested in participating in the course based on the letter of presentation, C.V. and registration application. In order to finalize the registration, accepted applicants should pay the inscription fee before the 15th April 2010.
