Mission

​The Vallpalou Private Foundation was created in 2008 with the aim of promoting art and culture among the public and especially, the visual arts and contemporary painting in order to stimulate the exchange of artistic experience, promote the critical spirit and, the individual initiative in the proactive development of artistic activities. At the same time, it offers a space where people can develop their sensitivity and enjoy the arts. The Foundation is also responsible for exhibiting, promoting and cataloging the work of the founder, Teresa Vall Palou. Exhibitions, conferences, seminars, book presentations and cultural events have marked the cultural and artistic calendar of the Foundation, which has opened up the possibility of creating an art collection. Since 2016, the Foundation has been carrying out charity and cooperation tasks, supporting people who are less favored and risk being marginalized, in order to improve their living conditions and economy.
