From Senegal to Niger, through Mali, Ghana and Guinea, this young group from Lleida give us a tour of traditional songs from West Africa. Discover the cultural traditions of these countries through the rhythms of traditional instruments such as the Djembe, the Dununba the Sangban or Kenkeny. Hear the rhythms of birth celebrations, the crop songs or the mystical sounds of ancestral memory of the past. The group Sanbanyi, whose name recalls the original word for the African drum, brings us the music of a culture tied to the land, a culture linked to the universe.
