Vallpalou Foundation, in collaboration with the Catalan Council for Youth and Children’s Book Writers on Stage, joins the first International Day of Youth and Children’s Book on Tuesday, April 2.
Aat 6:00pm, we will conduct a dramatized reading of a few stories of Hans Christian Andersen in the group Escritoras scene. Also read the poem by Pat Mora Writers on Stage is a theater group that was born from the Creative Writing Workshop Gloria Martin. There are 11 women who interpret their own texts. This activity is aimed at children (and their parents). This is a free activity. Throughout the day, we will conduct an activity bookcrossing: Children (and even adults) can take their books to the Foundation, which explains what bookcrossing, will record them and release them. Boockcrossing is a global book club that crosses time and space. It is a reading group that knows no geographical boundaries. The books are released for free, but the act of freeing books that reaches the heart of BookCrossing. BookCrossing is the goal of turning the whole world into a library. |
